Unser Oktober war bislang mild. Sonnige und regnerische Tage lösten sich ab. Kein Wind. Deshalb haben die Bäume und Sträucher auch noch reichlich Laub, überwiegend grünes Laub.
Until yesterday our October was mild with sunny and rainy days and less wind. So trees and bushes still have a lot of foliage, mostly green foliage.
Nun hat sich das Wetter geändert: Ein Hoch aus Schweden und Strömungen aus Russland bestimmen es. Und das bedeutet: Kälte. Endlich fängt das Laub an, sich zu verfärben. Der Goldene Oktober kommt, sozusagen der Indian Summer in Deutschland.
Now wheather has changed. An anticyclone from Sweden and currents from Russia let the temperatures drop down. At long last the foliage starts to change color. The Golden October our Indian Summer is coming.
