Beautiful photos, Ulli. Were these taken recently? I ask, because some of the trees here in Prague have blossoms on them, and wildflowers are starting to appear. Strange winter.
Thank you, Julie. These photos are taken in Germany, Northrhine Westphalia nearby the City of Neuss and Düsseldorf at the small River Erft.
Nice to know that a part of Prague looks similar. Have a nice weekend, Julie,
Ulli
Thank you, Francis. Yes, it’s really a warm colour. The sun made a wonderful atmosphere. But now it seems as if it will get colder- we’ll see.
Have a nice Saturday,
Ulli
Blackberries blooming in December … near Dusseldorf??? Wow! What a year! I did notice that here (Madison, Wisconsin, USA https://goo.gl/maps/z1g4CZEWseA2 ) that the rhubarb had come out of dormancy and had a couple of leaves. But, that was before the snow two days ago. I think it’s sleeping, again. 🙂
Rhubarb in December is quiet strange too 🙂
Good luck for it that snow came, so it really can sleep and survive the frost.
Germany sometimes has green Christmas and white Easter, but not with such temperatures in December.
Thank you for your visit and comment, Mike. Good to know that you have similar experiences.
Have a nice weekend,
Ulli
Thank you Curieuzeneuzemosterdpot. Yes, it’s really incredible. We have temperatures like spring, but’s strange to see trees bloom without any green leave.
We thought the winter is coming but just in the North of Germany. We’ll wait 🙂
Have a nice day,
Ulli
Thank you, dear GH. It’s my pleasure.
And I always like to visit your blog seeing what happens in your exerciting world. Cheers of a wonderful 2016 🍾

Aw, yes I see you are very cold – while we are far too hot! Would be great to change places for a few hours, then you could warm up and I could cool down! 🙂
🙂 – perhaps the average of the temperatures would be a solution …
But we need the winter. Our farmers arme really unhappy. The rain dismantled the farmland.
Unusable potatoes in January 😦
But now it’s getting colder.
Greetings
Ulli

Happy New Year! Our river is 20 feet over normal right now. But our house on the river is OK!
Oh Tom, hope the weather changes soon. Hope you, your family and your house are safe.

Thank you, Julie. „My“ nettle was in companionship with lot’s of nettles. That might be the reason for happiness 🙂

For all the times I have been stung by nettles as a kid, I never once saw them with these beautiful blooms! 🙂
Hi Scifi. Yes, there is a big difference between effect and look 😉
Greetings from that cold and wet Germany,
Ulli

Yes, it’s true, we need the different seasons. We needed more rain in our winter, so now parts of SA have droughts.
What we have too much you have less …
Have a great week, Scifi
Ulli
Thank you Ulli, you too 🙂
