Eines der schwierigsten Segelreviere in Europa ist sicher die Bretagne. Mit einem Tidenhub von bis zu 12m sind die Strömungsverhältnisse dort sehr stark und damit für die Sportschifffahrt auch sehr schwierig. Ein Törn muss sehr gut vorbereitet werden und jeder tägliche Schlag muss genau berechnet werden, damit alles reibungslos verläuft. Windverhältnisse, Untiefen, Flussmündungen – alles muss genau beachtet werden, um zur richtigen Zeit immer am richtigen Ort zu sein.

Beachtet man die erforderliche Seemannschaft, so wird man durch den Charme und Reiz des Revieres entlohnt: Es ist einfach traumhaft.

One of the most ambitious sailing areas of Europe is Brittany. A tidal range of 12m produces a very strong current that makes sailing very difficult. That means: A sailing trip has to be planned seriously and accurately. Every day trip must be prepared and diligent estimated. Wind, shallow water and estuaries – everything must be adhered to sail safe and to be in the right place at the right time.
