      Thank you, Francis. For the Germans Christmas is really very important.
      I like the lights in Windows and streets, making the dark season a little warmer 🙂

        Is it because Sankt Nikolaus? I noticed that in news you really have more care to celebrate Christmas (seeing from the media of course) Here Christmas is in Summer but anyway there are lights in windows as well 🙂

        No, it’s not because of Santa Claus. With the first Advent the Germans look forward to the 24th December, the birthday of Jesus. And with the first Advent the new churchyear starts.
        Sure, Christmas in summer has another athmosphere, but I think one can enjoy it as much as in winter 🙂
